UDRUGA ARTECO PAVLETIĆ Udruga Arteco Pavletić operates in the Brodsko-posavska County, where it has established a permanent themed park, “Pavletić Themed Park,” in the village of Malino, Oriovac municipality. This park serves as a permanent outdoor exhibition and a venue for artistic workshops, focusing on youth. Through its activities in rural communities, the association particularly works with young people and the unemployed, providing them with opportunities to develop and enhance their competencies and skills through creative artistic expression. Over time, the association has transformed into the first social enterprise in Brodsko-posavska County.

UDRUGA GLUHIH I NAGLUHIH NOVA GRADIŠKA The Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Nova Gradiška is a voluntary social-humanitarian, cultural-educational, and recreational non-political and non-profit organization. It gathers all hearing-impaired persons, as well as parents of deaf children and youth, to promote all aspects of a better quality of life for these individuals and to achieve and protect their individual and collective interests. LOCAL ACTION GROUP POSAVINA The Local Action Group Posavina was founded as an association composed of representatives from the local community, including the non-profit sector, entrepreneurship, local government units, and other organizations operating in the area. The goal of the association is to connect these local organizations, institutions, and initiatives to jointly strengthen and enhance development capacities. The Posavina area, stretching along the Sava and Orljava rivers and the slopes of Dilj and Požeška hills, is rich in natural resources and cultural heritage and traditionally oriented towards agricultural production. In addition to agriculture, crafts and entrepreneurship are also growing, along with the development of rural tourism in the Posavina area. MUNICIPALITY OF ČAGLIN The Municipality of Čaglin is located in the Požeško-slavonska County, in the eastern part of Croatia. This municipality comprises several settlements and is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty. Čaglin is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, forests, and fields, making it attractive for nature lovers and rural tourism. The local population mainly engages in agriculture, livestock farming, and viticulture. The municipality offers various cultural and sports activities and events that bring together locals and visitors. Čaglin is an ideal place for a peaceful and quality life, with a strong emphasis on preserving tradition and community spirit.

Project Area:

The project is implemented in the Brodsko-posavska County and Požeško-slavonska County.

Project Duration:

The project is carried out over 12 months, from 01.01.2023 to 01.01.2024.

Project Value:

The total value of the project is 14,599.51 EUR or 110,000.00 HRK. This project is funded by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.

Target Groups:

• Unemployed youth who have completed vocational school or belong to the NEET group from BPŽ and PSŽ.

Brief Project Description:

GENERAL GOALS OF THE PROJECT ARE:

1. Raising the level of knowledge, skills, and employability and reducing the risk of entering the NEET category among young people in the Brodsko-posavska and Požeško-slavonska counties.
2. Strengthening cooperation between the civil and public sectors and youth associations for working with youth.

SPECIFIC GOALS OF THE PROJECT ARE:

1. Through educational workshops and examples of good practice, raise the level of awareness among young people about the opportunities available if they wish to engage in entrepreneurship, particularly through programs and measures to finance their initiatives, and how county-level and broader stakeholders can assist them.
2. The project encourages improving conditions to meet the needs of young people for permanent employment and adequate working conditions through a project designed and implemented by highly active associations in two rural Slavonian counties, in cooperation with the municipality, which has recognized the importance of improving conditions for youth to stay and participate in the local community.
