Visit from Matija Antun Reljković High School
An artistic project that proves the quality of our association
During the summer, students from the Matija Antun Reljković High School participated in the construction of the Satyr sculpture from recycled wooden material in our park, Arteco Pavletić. This activity was part of the Erasmus+ project “Art of Recycling, Future for Environment”, designed to promote recycling and creativity. In the week dedicated to Erasmus days and vocational education, the Satire sculpture was ceremonially unveiled in the school garden. This event was the culmination of hard work and cooperation between the students, the school and our association. The sculpture is not only a symbol of ecological awareness, but also a connection with the local community and its cultural heritage. The school especially praised our association as an example of good practice, emphasizing our contribution to the education of young people and the preservation of the environment. This project shows how we can achieve significant results by working together, while teaching young people important skills and values.

International visit to Artec as part of the Erasmus+ project
A positive example for young people from Europe
As part of the international Erasmus+ project “Time to Act Green”, participants from Turkey, Spain, Italy and Croatia visited our park Arteco Pavletić. The project focuses on sustainable development and green practices in everyday life, and the school brought its participants to Arteco as an example of good practice. Zoran Pavletić held an educational workshop on sustainable development, where he presented concrete examples of our involvement in this area. The participants learned about promotional measures related to climate change and sustainable practices that we apply in our social entrepreneurship, as well as the application of sustainability in art. After the educational part, there was entertainment, a tour of the property and refreshments with pancakes and tea. Participants and presenters had the opportunity to make objects from wood, which further highlighted the importance of recycling and creative use of materials. This visit is another example of how Arteco Pavletić successfully promotes sustainable development and environmental awareness through education and practical activities.
A visit to Artec as preparation for a project in Italy
Artec's social entrepreneurship has a good reputation from Malin to Bergamo
The students and teachers of the Matija Antun Reljković High School, who participated in mobility in Italy as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project S.T.E.P.+, visited our Association Arteco Pavletić on April 21, 2022. The visit was crucial for their preparation of a presentation on social entrepreneurship and sustainability in tourism. Accompanied by professors Željka Poleksić and Mirta Kos Kolobarić, students Laura Sudar and Sara Buketa visited our theme park in Malin. During the visit, Zoran Pavletić explained in detail how he came up with the idea for building the park and exhibiting unique sculptures made of vine and olive wood. He described the process of including family history, sustainability, the European dimension and social entrepreneurship in our work, as well as the challenges and successes in applying for European funds. At the entrance to the park, visitors were greeted by volunteers from various European youth projects, whose volunteering lasts two months. These experiences provided rich material for the students who presented their findings to the project partners in Bergamo. The visit to our association was an excellent opportunity for students and teachers to learn about examples of good practice in social entrepreneurship and sustainability. We thank them for their visit and look forward to future cooperation with Matija Antun Reljković High School. Thanks to this visit, students and teachers presented us in Italy as an example of good practice in the field of sustainability and social entrepreneurship. Their presentation, which included our projects and approaches, was very well received and highlighted as a model that can inspire other educational and social initiatives in Europe.
A visit to Artec as part of the Put association project
Arteco as an example of generational synergy to preserve tradition
As part of the project “The Last Minute Ruševo – Youth for Rural”, which is implemented by the Association Put from Ruševo, young and older members of the community visited the Artecoa Pavletić theme park. The project, financed by the Central Office for Demography and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, connects generations through the preservation of traditional crafts and the promotion of education. Participants learned about old crafts from senior members of the association, gaining valuable knowledge about cultural heritage. Young people trained the elderly in computer literacy, making it easier for them to find their way in the digital world. Grafting old varieties of fruit trees was a particularly interesting activity, providing participants with practical skills for their own gardens. Socializing with volunteers, along with incidental learning of foreign languages, further enriched the experience, enabling cultural exchange and connection. This visit shows how cooperation between generations can enrich the lives of all participants, promoting togetherness, education and the preservation of traditions. Arteco Pavletić is thus highlighted as an example of good practice in connecting generations and preserving cultural heritage.
