“Christmas Light” Exhibit

We are proud to announce that on the 27th of November 2019 we have opened the Advent story “Christmas Light” in the Theme park Pavletić in Malino this year as well.

Besides a vastly increased space, content and number of Christmas lights in the park, we have additionally prepared an exhibitor’s fair (family farms and associations – interested parties can still contact us) and there will also be fireworks and live music (Sundays in the late afternoon hours), food and drinks in the tent, homemade craft beer… and beautiful gifts for lucky visitors which will be chosen on Sunday. Tickets do not have to be paid for, but you can leave a donation and help the work of the Arteco Pavletić Association, so we can continue to delight you with this beautiful exhibit. The exhibit is open until the 6th of January 2020.

New Canopies

We were diligent this summer, so we made several canopies in our sculpture park in Malino. Visitors can now hide themselves from the sun and the rain during their visit and can also rest on the benches under a roof.

The Sad Story of a Dolphin

Several years ago, a wooden dolphin swam from the Orljava river into the Adriatic Sea. He first settled in the Punat Marina, then in the sculpture park on Dunat and was in Zagreb and the rest of Croatia as well, only to recently become the main attraction and the beach in Punat. Every day, dozens of domestic and foreign tourists would stop to take a picture with him. Sometimes they would pet him or even kiss him.

He also appeared in various media in Croatia and beyond.

Unfortunately, unknown vandals have ended his “life” last night by tearing him down from his pedestal and throwing him onto the rocks in the sea. He fell apart and the water took him away in pieces.

When a person dies, we say “From dust you came and to dust you shall return,” and to the dolphin we would say “From water you came and to water you shall return.”

We also made small dolphin replicas in his image. The last picture shows a piece of the dolphin floating on the sea.
